People don’t usually think about space as a travel destination. However, as concepts for space hotels are being developed, a new way of traveling is just around the corner! Since activities in weightlessness are also in favor, this project imagined a zero-gravity dance club in a space hotel.

Inspired by space exploration, disco, deep seas, and retro-futurism, the concept includes:

disco body – the main inflatable central point, monumental yet inviting to move around and experiment with your dance moves;

dancing hands – the handrails that wiggle in microgravity;

space ball – the most common attribute of every disco party that usually hangs from the ceiling now floats around the space and dances with the crowd.

These elements could work in different scenarios (let’s say from less fun to more fun): when the disco body is attached to the walls using handrails/ when it turns around its axis and goes around the ring/ when it floats freely around the space (this one is called the disco animal, hence the zebra print.)

May these ideas be dreams about a future full of adventures or great exercises for curiosity and creativity – it is nothing but fun to imagine what it feels like to dance in space. In other words – embrace the unpredictable and experience the unexperienced!
